The Spring Box by Landon Maloney

Mr McCrab lived on 111 4th street in New Hampshire he was half detective half spy he worked for the agency called IDS he was the leader of the agency.

Chapter 1: Old friends return

I was working in my office when it was spring when I had to solve the most cases when I found a box on my desk it said in sharpie To: Mr McCrab on 111 4th street I opened it it had an letter it said

Dear Mr McCrab                                                                                                  

I am pleased to inform you that your fellow sidekick Dr. Maloney has returned from his long trip from London. He is at the airport at 112 15th avenue in New York.  If you would like to pick him up from the airport you may.  I know this is you’re  busiest time, but just thought you would want to pick him up.  I hope you are feeling well

Chapter 2: The Arrival Of Enemy

I jumped into my car and headed to pick up Mr Maloney.  So I went to 112 5th Avenue the place where the letter said, but I did not see an airport. I rechecked the letter I had the right address.  I began to wonder and checked for clues. That’s when I saw a fingerprint right on the back of the letter.  I scanned the fingerprint with my Fingerprint-O-Matic and it was my arch enemy Dr. Jackson. Now I knew this was not good.

Chapter 3: The Showdown

I drove in my black Ferrari straight to his house, it was locked. So I used my awesome tool the Key-O-Matic to open up the door. I opened the door and I saw Dr. Maloney with Dr. Jackson.  Dr Maloney was captured.  I quickly grabbed my sticky dart attached to a rope. I threw it and it landed exactly where I wanted it caught Dr Maloney straight on the chest. I pulled him away, but Dr. Jackson cut the rope.  I did it again this time using my super strong line and I pulled Dr. Maloney to safety. The two of us quickly went into action tying Dr Jackson to a chair.  The police would be here soon.

Chapter 4: Reunited Once More

Dr. Maloney and I were reunited again.  It was a good thing as Spring is our busiest time of year. We needed to work together to solve myseteries.  I told Dr. Maloney to never leave the country again unless he was with the greatest detective ever Mr McCrabs.

OK I was out in my front yard playing golf and my mom was on her phone and she just go’s like this “Schools cancelled” I go “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”  OK maybe it was shorter but I was still mad

One day Beck woke up on his bed and found a sticky note.

“Who may find this letter come to the room you most like. There your next clue lies.” I had no idea who was writing these letters. I asked my mom, my dad and my two little brothers John and Paul. They each said “no idea.” I had 2 cases to solve who was writing these letters and who was right now eating my pancakes. It was obvious that John was eating my pancakes as he had chocolate chips all over his face.  The not obvious mystery was who was writing the letters. I went in to the sunroom(my favorite room) and I found the next clue. I read “Go back to the room were you begin your day for there the next clue awaits. -S.” I told my family again and they decided to help solve the mystery.  We all went to my bedroom to find the next clue.  “ Next the clue that awaits everyone have Cookies and Shakes. -Sa” I knew I was getting closer so I went to the kitchen to find our next clue. “3/4th of the way good grief next to your room waits the next clue”-Sam It was clear now it had to be my Uncle Sam or was it my great aunt Samantha but how could it be Samantha if she is dead could her spirit be back.

Part two: The case of Samantha

I go to the room where the next clue says “Here lays you’re final clue for I lie in the next room”-Samantha I gasp and I scream in my head.  My heart beating as I know she is in John and Paul’s room. I tried to go in but it was locked. So I stood thinking how can I get in.  Do I want to go in?  Why is she leaving me clues? As I was thinking what was the right choice the door unlocked and opened just a little.  I decided to go in.  I went in looked right at her, not sure what was going to happen.  I was shaking.  I asked her, “Why are you here? Why are you leaving me notes and what do you want?”  My voice was still shaking.

“Beck I am your great aunt and I lived in this house many years ago.  I came back to visit because I miss this house so much.”

Beck began to realize that Samantha was nice.  “But why are you leaving me clues?”

Samantha explained that she had seen him doing puzzles all the time and thought he would like the challenge. “I am sorry if I scared you.  I just thought it would be fun.”

“So all this time you were just playing a game with me.” Beck said

“Right on boy” she said.  Samantha and Beck laughed together.

Michael Jackson did this at one of his concerts and it became popular.

Madden 20 has pros and cons. its pros are that you can play different game modes like Superstar Ko, Face of the Franchise and more. you can also choose any team. Cons are that In Superstar Ko you have to pick the teams that they give. my favorite are the Magicians and the Backyard Heroes. So all of that advice leads me to 8 out of 10 stars. My next review will be on Jedi Fallen Order.

 

Here it is.

One day John was wondering around his house.  He touched one of the stairs and boom the stair opened up into one big secret passageway. He never knew it was there so he went down wondering where it led.  He didn’t know his mom was watching as he went down the passage way.  He got to the other side and heard cars zooming and honking and fire engines going weeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooo.  Then he heard children laughing. He had brought his backpack just in case, but didn’t know if he needed it. He finally found the exit and found himself staring at the school.

“Wow, I thought John was going to be at school today” said John’s best friend Parker.

“Yeah, me too” said James. John started to walk over and said “Hi guys.”

They said, “Look behind you.”

“Jonathan James Reynolds the 3rd,” said his mom.

“Uh oh.”  How was John going to explain this to his friends.

“You are in so much trouble when you get home.”

I went home and my mother grounded me for 1 month. It was not fun not one bit. After that month my mom explained that my great great grandparents used it as a shelter to protect them from any harm.

I asked her, “Then why does it lead to the school?”

She said, “It leads to the school because it was the first and only government building of our country back then.”

His name is Beck like David Beckham also like my ski coach Beck. He is a cute dog.
